Terms of sale and returns

1. Who sells

Sales on this website are made by Olio Pantanella di [Nome Cognome], [registered office to be completed], VAT [VAT number to be completed], email info@pantanella.farm.

2. What we sell and how pre-ordering works

We sell extra virgin olive oil of our own production. Most of the oil is bought as a pre-order: you pay when you order, and we ship it, or prepare it for collection, once it has been made and bottled. The expected shipping date is shown on the website before purchase and is an estimate that may change with the progress of the harvest. If the delay exceeds 30 days from the date shown, you can cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Availability is limited to the litres of the harvest put on sale. If, for reasons beyond our control, we cannot deliver the oil you ordered, we will refund you in full within 14 days.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown in the basket and in the summary before payment. For each size we also show the price per litre.

4. Order and conclusion of the contract

The contract is concluded when the payment goes through: at that moment you receive a confirmation email with the order summary, its code and the link to follow it. An order not paid within the time shown expires at no cost.

5. Payment

We accept the methods shown at payment (card via Stripe, PayPal, Satispay). Payment takes place on the secure pages of the provider you choose: we never see or store your card details. On request, we issue an invoice with the details you enter in the order.

6. Delivery

We ship by courier within Italy and to the European Union countries offered at checkout; the shipping cost depends on the country and on the litres ordered and is shown before payment. You receive the tracking code by email. On delivery, check that the parcel is intact; if it is not, accept it with reservation and write to us within 8 days with a few photos. The risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. Collection from the farm is only available for orders in Italy: we will write to you when the oil is ready.

7. Right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day you receive (or collect) the oil. Before shipping, you can cancel the order at any time by writing to us: we will refund you in full.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement at info@pantanella.farm, which may use the form below. Send the oil back to us within 14 days of your notice; the cost of returning it is yours. We will refund you within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method, including standard delivery costs; we may wait until we have received the oil before refunding.

As provided by Art. 59 of the Codice del Consumo (the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005), the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery, because for reasons of hygiene and health protection they cannot be resold.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Art. 128 and following of the Codice del Consumo (Italian Consumer Code). If the oil you receive does not match its description, write to us: we will replace it or refund you.

9. Complaints

For any complaint, write to info@pantanella.farm or use the contact page: we reply within a few days. You can also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes.

10. Applicable law

The contract is governed by Italian law. For consumers, the competent court is that of the place where the consumer resides or is domiciled.
