Coratina oil from the Murgia

We grow our olive trees on the Murgia, in Puglia, among dry-stone walls and red earth. Our olive is Coratina, the variety that makes the boldest oils.

Every year we sell only the oil from our own harvest: when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why does the oil catch in the throat?
The pepperiness comes from oleocanthal and the bitterness from other polyphenols: natural substances in the olive, more abundant in fresh oil and in Coratina. They are not faults. If you find it strong, use it raw on simple dishes such as pulses, bread and vegetables: there it balances out.
What is Coratina?
It is the olive variety typical of central Puglia, named after the town of Corato. It is known for intense oils, rich in polyphenols, that keep well for a long time.
When does the oil arrive?
You pre-order the oil before it is ready. We expect to ship from December 2026, freshly bottled, and we will email you the tracking code.
How much is shipping?
Shipping to Italy €8.90 (Sicily and Sardinia €12.90), free from €50.00. Collection from the farm is free.
How can I pay?
With card and PayPal. You pay on the secure pages of the provider you choose: we never see or store your card details.
Do I need an account?
No. An email address is enough: you get the confirmation and a link to follow your order. With an account you find all your orders in one place.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw. Before shipping, just write to us. The details are in the terms of sale.
How should I store it?
In the dark, away from heat, tightly closed. Once you open the tin, pour the oil into dark glass bottles.
